The Bible says;

>> GREED AND COVETOUSNESS CAUSE PEOPLE TO HOLD MISGUIDED NOTIONS ABOUT LIFE!!
>> BUT, WHAT IS LIFE BIBLICALLY??!!
Matthew 6:25 (NIV)
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your LIFE, what you will
eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not LIFE more
than food, and the body more than clothes?"
>> LIFE IS MORE THAN FOOD!!! DO NOT WORRY ABOUT LIFE!!
>> SO WHAT IS LIFE SCRIPTURALLY?!
Matthew 4:4 (NIV)
4 But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.""
>> MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE!!!
>> MAN SHALL LIVE BY EVERY WORD THAT COMES FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD!! Therefore, WHAT IS LIFE ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE??!!
The following is a teaching on what life really is!!!
>> First of all it must be clear that life consisteth not in the abundance of material possessions as the world thinketh!!
American Standard Version-(Luke 12:15)

consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth."
Good News Translation-(Luke 12:15)
And he went on to say to them all, "Watch out and guard yourselves from every kind of greed; because your true life is not made up of the things you own, no matter how rich you may be."
>> The world is motivated and inspired by greed and covetousness;
these are evil spirits which are the origin of the misguided and perverted
thinking that life consisteth in the abundance of "perishable and temporal things!!"
of this world!! The Bible says:
JOHN 1:1-3 (NIV)
"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all
things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In
him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."
1) THE WORD IS THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING
2) BEFORE EVERYTHING WAS, THE WORD WAS
3) EVERYTHING BEGAN WITH THE WORD, IN THE WORD, AND FOR THE WORD
4) THROUGH THE WORD ALL THINGS WERE MADE, AND WITHOUT THE WORD NOTHING WAS MADE THAT HAS BEEN MADE
5) IN HIM (THE WORD, GOD) WAS LIFE!!
>> Life is in the word!! Life began with the word!! Life can only
be found the word!! OUTSIDE THE WORD THERE IS NO LIFE, BUT DEATH!!
>> THE LIFE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE IS THE LIFE OF THE WORD!! AND
IF THE BIBLE SAYS THE WORD WAS GOD, THEN THE WORD IS STILL GOD,
THEREFORE THE LIFE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE IS THE LIFE OF GOD (THE
LIVING WORD)!!
>> So when we're talking about life in the Bible we mean THAT LIFE
WHICH IS ETERNAL AND INCORRUPTIBLE!! Thus we say now affirmatively that
ANYTHING CORRUPTIBLE IS DEATH AND NOT LIFE!! And this is why our Lord
Jesus said life consisteth not in the abundance of the things that one
possesseth!!! LIFE IS IN THE WORD!!
The Bible says:
John 6:63 (NKJV)
"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life."
1) IT'S THE SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE!!
2) THE WORDS OF JESUS ARE SPIRIT!!
3) THE WORDS OF JESUS ARE ALSO LIFE!!
John 1:4 says; IN HIM (THE WORD) WAS LIFE!! Therefore we can now clearly
see from John 6:63 that THIS LIFE IN THE WORD IS IN THE SPIRIT OF THE
WORD!! Now from John 6:63 we deduce;
The word= spirit................. (1)
The word = life......................(2)
(1) + (2) give us:
The Spirit is Life!! LIFE IS IN SPIRIT!! LIFE IS SPIRIT!!! AND THIS IS THE SPIRIT OF THE WORD!!
It's the Spirit that gives life!!!
What is Life Biblically?
>>The word of forgiveness, has the spirit of
forgiveness; the spirit of forgiveness empowers you to live a life of
forgiveness!! The power of forgiveness is in the spirit of forgiveness,
and it's what empowers you to live its life!!
>> The word of giving, has the spirit of giving; the spirit of
giving empowers you to live a life of giving!! The power of giving is in
the spirit of giving!! And this spirit empowers you to live its life!!
>>The word of love, has the spirit of love; the spirit of love
empowers you to live a life of love!! The power of love is in the spirit
of love!! And this spirit empowers you to live its life of love!!
>> This goes on, on, and on for it covers each and every word of God from Genesis 1:1 all the way to Revelation 22:21!!
>> The Bible says;
English Standard Version-2 Cor 3:6
"who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."
>> Life is not in the written word (the letter) but it's in the spirit of the word!!
CHRONOLOGY OF LIFE
1) The Word goes forth
2) The word, when believed, gives birth to faith in the heart
3) Faith in the heart, means the word has become "spirit"!!
4) This spirit of the word has the life of the word believed!
5) The spirit of the word has the power of that life in the word
6) It's this spirit of the word and its power which constitute the grace of God:
Grace of God = the spirit of the word + the power of this spirit
7) The spirit and the power enable you to live the life of the word, which is the life of Christ, the living word!!
It goes like:
the word>> gives birth to faith >>which gives the spirit of faith >> and this has the power
of faith>> which empowers you to live the life of faith in the word believed!!
WHAT IS LIFE THEREFORE??!!
>> LIFE IS THE SPIRIT AND POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD WHICH YOU HAVE BELIEVED AND ARE OBEYING
The Bible says in First Corinthians 15:45
New International Version
So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit."
>> Our Lord Jesus is the last Adam: THE LORD JESUS IS A LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT or simply THE SPIRIT OF LIFE!!
2 CORINTHIANS 3:17
New Living Translation
"For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."
>> THE LORD IS THE SPIRIT!!! THE SPIRIT IS LORD!!! THE SPIRIT
SHEDS ABROAD THE LOVE OF GOD IN YOUR HEART!! This shedding abroad of
love in the heart is the shedding abroad of the spirit and power of the word which
you have believed in your heart/spirit!! It's where the word becometh
spirit and life!!
>> The Spirit (Jesus) releases the spirit of faith in the word into your spirit when you believe!!
THE WORD>> FAITH >> THE SPIRIT >> SPIRITUAL POWER >> SPIRITUAL LIFE
What is Life therefore?
>> LIFE IS THE THINKING ACCORDING TO THE WORD, MEDITATING
ACCORDING TO THE WORD, REASONING ACCORDING TO THE WORD, INTENDING
ACCORDING TO THE WORD, PURPOSING ACCORDING TO THE WORD, WILLING
ACCORDING TO THE WORD, PLANNING ACCORDING TO THE WORD, HAVING AND/OR
FEELING EMOTIONS ACCORDING TO THE WORD, SPEAKING THE WORD, AND DOING ALL
THINGS EXACTLY ACCORDING TO THE WORD, BY THE SPIRIT AND POWER OF JESUS,
THROUGH A LIVING FAITH IN HIM-THE LORD OF LIFE!! This is what life is
and what it means!! And this life is spiritual!! It's the life of Christ
Jesus in you, through you, and for you, by the Spirit and power of Jesus
Christ, our Lord and Saviour!!
